Frequently Asked Questions about New York Cruises

We've covered everything for you

Which side of the boat is best during a New York Harbor cruise?

Answer: This is a very common question that we hear quite often, but the answer is much simpler than you might think - In most cases, it really does not matter which side of the boat you choose!

The reason is straightforward - The vast majority of New York cruises do not make a full loop around Manhattan. Instead, they sail out, make a U turn, and return to the departure point, which means that both sides of the boat eventually get to see the same views.

However, if you choose a cruise that does complete a full circle around Manhattan, we recommend sitting on the left side of the boat. This side offers views of many of Manhattan’s most famous landmarks, which will be on your left as you cruise along.

To secure the best possible spot on the boat, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time in order to line up early.
