For example, the popular Circle Line operates cruises from Pier 16 in Lower Manhattan or Pier 83 in Midtown East. The well-known City Cruises company departs from Pier 61, Battery Park, and Liberty State Park, while Liberty Cruise departs from Pier 40.

Other popular piers used by various cruise companies include Chelsea Piers, North Cove Marina New York, and Pier 36.
